HOPE - FOOL
HOPE-FOOL is the name of a show we created Refugee Week 2025, raising awareness about mental health, but it soon also became the name of our new community theatre ensemble. The ethos is very simple: We fool Not To Fall. It's our clown logic.

Our Insomnia dance
OUR CONCEPT: A full-length show made of around eight games, each designed to raise awareness about issues that matter to the people taking part in the process. These games are accessible to all and help the project be very inclusive across ages, communities, and languages. It's the second time we use this format. The first time was 'Hang Out To Dry' where we explored seeking asylum in the UK

Interested? We now aim to take our HOPE-FOOL approach to various communities with a core group of four creatives who will support the process and take part in the show.
We can work together with up to 20 local participants over six days depending on people's availability (some only came for a day or two). We shape our games with their talents (poems, dance, spoken word and much more) and devise the show together (props making, song writing etc) there is always something for everyone!

Our aim is simple but ambitious: to give space and voice to as many people as possible in just one week, ensuring that everyone involved feels seen, heard, and proud of what they have created
