PSYCHEdelight has been running workshops with refugees in Calais and London for a year and Sophie witnessed among them an eagerness for comedy as a way to contrast and express their tragedy.

This experience gave her the impulse to create "Borderline" in collaboration with Frank Wurzinger, a professional clown practitioner. The cast will entail of an ensemble of refugee and european performers alltogether from 7 different nationalities : Uk, France, Syria, Afghanistan, Chile and Sudan.

The show will be accompanied by live music composed by a Syrian-UK duo.

This production is co-produced by The Cockpit Theatre in London where we will be in residence for our R&D. The premiere will take place during the Voila! Festival before touring the UK.
